Academic Search Complete 
Academic Search Complete is a comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,300 full-text periodicals, including 4,400 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,300 journals and a total of 9,810 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. Full text coverage of information in: archaeology, area studies, astronomy, biology, chemistry, ethnic & multicultural studies, general science, geography, law, mathematics, music, physics, psychology, religion & theology, women's studies, and other fields. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1865, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for nearly 1,000 journals.

MLA
International Bibliography, a database of citations to materials in literature,
linguistics and languages. Good source for citations to articles on Asian, Chinese,
and Japanese literature.

SpringerLink Journals provides electronic access to the complete contents
of a vast and growing collection of SpringerLink journals in subjects including
Asian Studies (formerly Kluwer Journals).
Project Muse offers indexing and full-text of periodicals published
by Johns Hopkins University Press and other university presses. Includes 16 titles
on Asian Studies.
JSTOR is an archive of scholarly journals, including 15 Asian Studies
journals. Current issues are not available through JSTOR; its role is an archive,
with new holdings added each year.
netLibrary collection of full-text electronic books (ebooks) includes a wide variety of subject content from both popular and scholarly texts. Users can search across the entire eBook collection for authors, titles, or keywords, and they can search within books for keywords and phrases. Users may read or browse through ebooks for an unlimited amount of time. A title may be unavailable temporarily when all NetLibrary copies are in use by other patrons.

Southeast Asian Studies: World Wide Web Virtual Library is a starting place for exploring Southeast Asian resources.
Southeast Asia Visions is a collection of European travel accounts of pre-modern Southeast Asia with online access to 130,000 pages of text from the the John M. Echols Collection at Cornell University. There are also about 10,000 images, as well.
UCLA Center for East Asian Studies a site maintained by UCLS with a variety of resources--news, journals, films, statistics--relating to Asian Studies.
World Wide Web Virtual Library: Asian Studies includes thousands of sorted links to philosophy resources on the internet as well as assorted other features.
World Wide Web Virtual Library: Internet Guide for China Studies includes thousands of links to internet resources arranged by Library of Congress Classication: Includes history, economy, education, politics, literature, arts, and more.
Various Style Manuals may be used in Asian Studies, depending upon the aspect you are studying: history, literature, social sciences, etc. Check with your professor to determine which format you should use for a particular class. Select from a variety of Style Manuals online and on Reserve within the library.
