ARTINFO: Art Sales Index Is a free electronic version of Hislop's Art Sales Index. Site search without registration is offered. Registration includes a weekly newsletter and updates on art fairs. Search auction records using the Search Lots at Auction search form. Searchy by artist name, artwork title, and auction house. Limit search by medium, year of work, price at auction, dimensions, sale date and lot number.
ArtPromote Provides access to thousands of free art image resources online including museum exhibitions and library collections from around the world arranged by subject, medium, movement, region, and more.

The Timeline of Art History Is a chronological, geographical, and thematic exploration of the history of art from around the world, as illustrated especially by the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection. The Timeline now extends from prehistory to 1600 A.D., and will continue to expand in scope and depth.
Victoria and Albert Museum This is the official website for the The Victoria and Albert Museums in London which contain artifacts on art, theatre, toys and childhood artifacts. The website allows visitors to browse or search collections from either of the three museums.
