Texas Presbyterian College Archives, 1902-1958
The TPC archives include, among other materials, the official records of the Presbyterian Synod’s college for women, once located in Milford, Ellis County, Texas. The collection contains minutes, transcripts, programs, rosters, lists, correspondence, memory books and scrapbooks, annuals, catalogs, literary society publications, photographs, and printed material that document the founding, operation, and eventual closure and sale of the property of Texas Presbyterian College for Women, and the continuing activities of its alumnae association. Also included in the collection is a master’s thesis on the “History of Texas Presbyterian College,” completed by a TPC graduate at the University of Texas-Austin, circa 1934.
