New Reference Resources from EBSCO through TexShare

Spotlight on Reference: New Online Resources from TexShare

As a TexShare member library, we now have access to several new databases which index content from quality sources such as magazines, journals, reference books and monographs, book reviews, videos, poems, short stories and much more.
From our A to Z E-Sources look for these new online resources:

Business Abstracts with Full Text™ includes full text from over 500 key business magazines and scholarly journals dating back to 1995. In addition to articles, it provides access to product evaluations, interviews, corporate profiles, surveys, statistical rankings, book reviews and reports from associations, societies, trade shows, conferences and more. Subject coverage includes accounting, acquisitions & mergers, advertising, banking, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, communications, economics, finance, financial services, government regulations, industrial relations, insurance, international business, investments, marketing, retail trade, small business and much more.

Humanities Full Text™ indexes many of the important academic journals in the humanities with the full text of articles from over 300 periodicals dating back to 1995, and high-quality indexing for almost 700 journals—of which 470 are peer-reviewed—dating as far back as 1984. The database includes feature articles, interviews, bibliographies, obituaries, and original works of fiction, drama, poetry and book reviews, as well as reviews of motion pictures, musicals, radio and television programs, plays, operas, and more.

Topics in Humanities Full Text™ include classical studies, literary & social criticism, philosophy, religion & theology, literature, art, dance, film, folklore, music, performing arts, area studies, communications, gender studies, history, journalism, archaeology, and much more.

Remember these two and all of the other TexShare databases when you need to locate information from reliable sources. Just like all of Abell’s subscription databases, these new databases are available to you anywhere and anytime from a computer on campus or from your home or mobile devices.
