A to Z Maps

A to Z Maps OnlineSure, A to Z Maps is extremely easy to access—it is the first subscription database listed on our A to Z E-Sources.  But even more important than easy access is its extremely varied contents; A to Z Maps offers so much more than simple geography.  Included in this database of over 4,000 world, continent, country, and state maps are political maps, physical maps, outline maps, population maps, precipitation maps, climate maps, and more!

This database includes such varied content as earthquake maps by state, images of state and country flags, maps showing areas for species of birds and trees, NASA maps, and NOAA weather data and maps. You have access to “current events maps,” currently including Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and Sudan/Darfur. For game enthusiasts, under “Education—Teaching Tools” there are crosswords to test your knowledge of states and countries.

All images in A to Z Maps are royalty-free, and to ensure that you are up-to-date, new maps are added to the database every month.
