Academic Search Complete A multidisciplinary database of peer-reviewed academic journals, offering indexing, abstracting and some full-text. Also includes image collections of people, places, historical photos, and more.

eHRAF - World Cultures The eHRAF World Cultures is a cross-cultural database that contains information on all aspects of cultural and social life.  The annually-growing eHRAF database is unique in that the information is organized by cultures and ethnic groups and the full-text documents are subject-indexed at the paragraph level.

Wilson WebOmniFile A multidisciplinary database providing abstracts and some full-text. Use SearchPlus to limit to a specific Subject Area or to filter results for peer-reviewed journals only.

WorldCat provides records of books and other materials (films, manuscripts, recordings, etc.) available at thousands of OCLC-member libraries. New records added daily.

ICPSR is the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research. It provides social science data and resources for researchers.

Social Sciences Data on the Net is part of the University of California, San Diego's Social Sciences Data Collection. Here are two specialized search utitlites, one chosen by humans, the other gathered by a "spider".

WWW Virtual Library: Statistics contains an enormous amount of information of interest to statistics educators at all levels.

Chance Database This data base contains materials designed help teach a Chance course or a more standard introductory probability or statistics course. The aim of Chance is to make students more informed, and critical, readers of current news that uses probability and statistics as reported in daily newspapers such as "The New York Times" and current journals and magazines such as "Chance", "Science", "Nature", and the "New England Journal of Medicine".

World Wide Web Virtual Library: Social Sciences

FindArticles.com contains an archive of full-text articles from over 300 magazines and journals dating back to 1998. Topics include business, health, society, computers and technology, and more. Full-text articles can be read, printed, and/or emailed at no cost. To determine if a particular journal is indexed, click on “by Name A--Z” after “View Publications” and look in the alphabetical listing.
