Academic Search Complete 
Academic Search Complete is a comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,300 full-text periodicals, including 4,400 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,300 journals and a total of 9,810 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. Full text coverage of information in: archaeology, area studies, astronomy, biology, chemistry, ethnic & multicultural studies, general science, geography, law, mathematics, music, physics, psychology, religion & theology, women's studies, and other fields. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1865, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for nearly 1,000 journals.
Britannica Online Full-text of the Encyclopedia Britannica including photos, drawings, flags, biographies, and geographical articles. Also includes the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

Journals
CQ Weekly Online The online version of the Congressional Quarterly Weekly Report. There is also an archive that extends back to 1983.
Project Muse offers growing list of periodicals published in conjunction with Johns Hopkins University Press. Most are available in full-text.
JSTOR is an archive of scholarly journals, including over 30 political science journals. Current issues are not available through JSTOR; its role is an archive, with new holdings added each year.
SpringerLink Journals provides electronic access to the complete contents of a vast and growing collection of SpringerLink journals in subjects including political science (formerly Kluwer Journals).
Reference Works
Columbia International Affairs Online publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 on that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences.
CountryWatch.com Provides access to a substantial set of geopolitical and business background information and data on individual countries, including maps.
The Founders' Constitution This is a web-based version of the popular and important set first published in 1986. The editors, Philip B. Kurland and Ralph Lerner, draw upon the writings of a wide array of people and the documents included range from the early seventeenth century to the 1830s. The materials are arranged, first, according to broad themes or problems and then they are arranged by article, section, and clause of the U.S. Constitution, from the Preamble through Article Seven and continuing through the first twelve Amendments.
ICPSR is the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research. It provides social science data and resources for researchers.
LexisNexis Congressional Full text of congressional reports, documents, prints, bills and the Congressional Record. Prepared statements and selected question and answer transcripts (1988-present). Bill tracking reports that follow bills through Congress and the text of bills. Public laws and the United States Code Service. Other Web sites with useful information about Congress and American politics.
LexisNexis Statistical: Allows users to search summaries, then link to the full-text of selected statistical publications on LexisNexis Statistical and government web sites.
Books
netLibrarycollection of full-text electronic books (ebooks) includes a wide variety of subject content from both popular and scholarly texts. Users can search across the entire eBook collection for authors, titles, or keywords, and they can search within books for keywords and phrases. Users may read or browse through ebooks for an unlimited amount of time. A title may be unavailable temporarily when all NetLibrary copies are in use by other patrons.
You are allowed to print one page at a time using your Web browser's print function or the print function on the Adobe Acrobat toolbar. Printing the entire eContent item violates copyright laws and precautions are taken to protect those copyright laws.

Statistical Abstract of the United States is the standard summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States, designed to serve as a guide to other statistical publications and sources. The latter function is served by the introductory text to each section, the source note appearing below each table, and Appendix I, which comprises the Guide to Sources of Statistics, the Guide to State Statistical Abstracts, and the Guide to Foreign Statistical Abstracts. Now searchable with a Google-powered search box. Excel spreadsheets allow site users to manipulate data.
