Communication and Mass-Media Complete Communication & Mass Media Complete provides the a robust, quality research solution in areas related to communication and mass media. CMMC incorporates the content of CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State) along with numerous other journals in communication, mass media, and other closely-related fields of study to create a research and reference resource of unprecedented scope and depth encompassing the breadth of the communication discipline. CMMC offers cover-to-cover ("core") indexing and abstracts for more than 420 journals, and selected ("priority") coverage of nearly 200 more, for a combined coverage of more than 600 titles. CMMC includes full text for 301 journals. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts, PDFs and searchable cited references from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as 1915). CMMC contains a sophisticated Communication Thesaurus and comprehensive reference browsing (i.e. searchable cited references for peer-reviewed journals covered as "core").
MLA indexes critical materials on literature, criticism, drama, languages, linguistics, and folklore. Coverage is international.

The Oxford Encyclopedia of Theatre and Performance This encyclopedia provides authoritative and up-to-date information about theatre and performance from ancient Greek theatre to the latest developments in London, Paris, New York, and around the globe. In addition to performances in playhouses, it covers dance, opera, radio, film, television, and popular performance, including carnivals, circus, and public executions. Entries range from short definitions of terms to lengthy considerations of genres and movements, such as feminism and psychoanalytic criticism. Entries on cities and regions place performance in its local social and political context. Written in accessible language, this encyclopedia brings together an international cast of over 300 specialist contributors.

collection of full-text electronic books (ebooks) includes a wide variety of subject content from both popular and scholarly texts. Users can search across the entire eBook collection for authors, titles, or keywords, and they can search within books for keywords and phrases. Users may read or browse through ebooks for an unlimited amount of time. A title may be unavailable temporarily when all NetLibrary copies are in use by other patrons.

- Broadway World contains news on current and upcoming productions both on Broadway and Off-Broadway. Includes reviews,photos, blogs, and even a map of theatres.
- Cesar is a comprehensive resource of French theatrical entertainments and venues during the 17th and 18th centuries, the ancien régime and the French Revolution. Search titles, people, troupes, places, plays, operas, dances, ballets, masquerades, parodies, heroic or lyric dramas, and historical or lyric comedies. Locate full texts of key French monographs, more than 3,500 images of portraits, playbills, title pages, scores, characters in costumes, and scenes. Searchable in French and English.
- The EServer Drama Collection contains a collection of original plays and screenplays, criticism, and links to other sites concerned with theatre.
- Inter-Play is an online index to plays in collections, anthologies, and periodicals. Search by playwright and/or title.
- Internet Movie Database Dates of coverage vary. (IMDb) Updated weekly. Provides access to information about movies (including those made for television) from across the world, starting with the earliest cinema through the latest releases and titles still in production.
- McCoy's Guide to Theatre and Performance Studies is an annotated list of web sites, electronic journals, and listservs related to theatre and performance studies compiled by Dr. Ken McCoy of Stetson University.
- Mr. William Shakespeare and the Internet attempts to be a complete annotated guide to the scholarly Shakespeare resources available on Internet and to present new Shakespeare material unavailable elsewhere on the Internet.
- Phrases from Shakespeare, a subset of The Phrase Finder, provides information on the origin and meaning of specific phrases from Shakespeare's plays.
- The Speech Accent Archive The speech accent archive uniformly presents a large set of speech samples from a variety of language backgrounds. Native and non-native speakers of English read the same paragraph and are carefully transcribed. The archive is used by people who wish to compare and analyze the accents of different English speakers. This archive is potentially of interest not only to linguists but also to actors and others interested in spoken English.
