AC Access OnlyCommunication and Mass-Media Complete Communication & Mass Media Complete provides the a robust, quality research solution in areas related to communication and mass media. CMMC incorporates the content of CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State) along with numerous other journals in communication, mass media, and other closely-related fields of study to create a research and reference resource of unprecedented scope and depth encompassing the breadth of the communication discipline. CMMC offers cover-to-cover ("core") indexing and abstracts for more than 420 journals, and selected ("priority") coverage of nearly 200 more, for a combined coverage of more than 600 titles. CMMC includes full text for 301 journals. Many major journals have indexing, abstracts, PDFs and searchable cited references from their first issues to the present (dating as far back as 1915). CMMC contains a sophisticated Communication Thesaurus and comprehensive reference browsing (i.e. searchable cited references for peer-reviewed journals covered as "core").

    Journals

    American Communications Journal, an online scholarly refereed journal from the American Communication Association. Read the current issue or search the archives to retrieve full-text articles from previous issues.

    AC Access OnlyProject Muse Index of periodicals published by Johns Hopkins University Press. Most are available in full-text.

    Books

    AC Access OnlynetLibraryProvided by TexSharecollection of full-text electronic books (ebooks) includes a wide variety of subject content from both popular and scholarly texts. Users can search across the entire eBook collection for authors, titles, or keywords, and they can search within books for keywords and phrases. Users may read or browse through ebooks for an unlimited amount of time. A title may be unavailable temporarily when all NetLibrary copies are in use by other patrons.

    You are allowed to print one page at a time using your Web browser's print function or the print function on the Adobe Acrobat toolbar. Printing the entire eContent item violates copyright laws and precautions are taken to protect those copyright laws.
